천지은은 시각예술가로서 조형, 설치, 디지털 3D 작업을 기반으로 활동한다. 작가는 특정 장소에서 보이지 않는 상태가 드러나는 조건을 탐구한다.
작업은 배수구, 벽의 틈, 파이프와 같은 도시 환경의 인프라 구조에서 출발한다. 이러한 지점은 공간에 잠재된 상태가 표면으로 드러나는 위치로 작동한다. 손으로 만든 형태는 기록과 변환을 거쳐 3D 데이터로 옮겨지고, 다시 조형물이나 영상으로 재구성된다. 이 과정에서 형태는 서로 다른 상태 사이를 반복적으로 이동한다.
작가의 작업에서 물리적 조형과 디지털 영상은 분리되지 않은 채 함께 놓인다. 전시는 서로 다른 상태가 동시에 존재하는 환경으로 구성된다.
Zeeon Zheon is a visual artist working across sculpture, installation, and digital 3D media. The artist investigates the conditions under which unseen states become manifest within a specific site.
The work begins from infrastructural elements of the urban environment, such as drains, pipes, and cracks in walls. These points operate as sites where latent conditions within space surface and become visible. Hand-made forms are documented and translated into 3D data, then reconfigured as physical objects or moving images. Through this process, forms repeatedly move between different states.
In the artist’s work, physical sculpture and digital images are placed together without being separated. The exhibition is constructed as an environment in which multiple states coexist simultaneously.
